For the past couple days every time I tried to get on the site it was either a blank white page or an error saying it wasn't available. I'm using firefox. Is everyone having this problem or just me?

I'm not sure what's going on with the site. I, too, was having problems opening this webpage in. It appears this has been happening on a fairly regular basis, for varying periods of downtime.

I sent an e-mail message to our webhost to understand why we've been having these issues, and what mitigating strategies they're exploring. I've not received any response, but I was surprised to see that shortly after the message was sent, the site came back up again...

It's the web hosting company. I'm pretty much fed up with them and have found another host that has a 100% reliablity rating that we'll be moving to soon.

Maurice is going to upgrade the forum software and do the move at the same time. I'll let you know when we'll do this.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) It hasn't happened as much recently because I bitched about it. I'm working up a new logo and will probably be changing how the site looks over the next several months.

We need a facelift...

It has come to my attention that some individuals are unable to get Snobs to load. They get the following message:

Address Not Found
Firefox can't find the server at www.cigarsnobs.com.

The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.

* Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. "ww.mozilla.org" instead of "www.mozilla.org")
* Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

Perhaps some of you admin geniuses can help them out.

Doc.

For the past week or two, logging on has been real hit or miss for me.

Sometime she load...sometime she no find. This is the only site I am having trouble with. Firefox or IE, doesn't matter. I've been thinking it was a DNS issue, not sure anymore.

Even though this thread originated weeks ago, Gonz describes my issue perfectly.

WTF is going on??

Any ideas??

We are sorry you are experiencing difficulty. We know how frustrating this can be. Unfortunately the owner has become stricken with a terrible disease know as "I'm Whipped" Disease. This disease is known to greatly alter the man compass and tasks/time for your friends become of little concern. While we hope there will be moments of clarity we must accept the fact that it could be 6 months to a year before said owner regains his health and returns.
